Washington, Usa - About 10,000 jobs at sea

Boeing will decide within next August on whether to close its Long Beach plant, where it is produced C-17 transport aircraft. In the facility they work about 5,000 people, supporting 5,700 jobs at subcontractors. In case the total closure should come in 2008 (see for details AVIONEWS).
