MIDDLE EAST AIRLINES CARRIES ON A RESTRUCTURING PLAN
LEBANON, Lebanese Middle East Airlines has reduced its staff by 1.530 in the course of a restructuring plan by retirements, resignations and redundancies. The airline has also reached a deal with ground staff and flight attendants unions. A new agreement with pilots is expected to be finalised soo.
