PARACHUTIST LANDS ON THE STATUE OF LIBERTY

NEW YORK, A french stuntman used a paraglider to land on the statue of liberty but became snagged on the upraised torch and had to be rescued. The man was arrested by U.S. Parks Service Police. The circumstances of the incident were not immediately clear.
