POLONIA TO ORDER C-295 AIRCRAFTS TO CASA

POLAND, Poland has signed a contract with spanish CASA to acquire eight of the medium range transports C-295 aircrafts. The planes will replace the aging An-26s and can haul up to 69 passengers with twin turboprop engines from Pratt and Whitney of Canada. CASA is a subsidiary for EADS. The deal is worth US$212 million.
