MD EXPLORERS JOIN AIR METHODS, MERCY AIR FOR AIR MEDICAL MISSIONS

ORLANDO, FLORIDA, Two more U.S. air medical operators have added MD Explorer helicopters to their fleets. Air Methods Corp. in Aurora, Colo., and Mercy Air Service, Inc., in Fontana, Calif., each took delivery of one MD Explorer in September. Both helicopters will be outfitted for advanced life support missions, and both will be powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada 207E engines.
