NEW TERMINAL AT TIBETAN AIRPORT

LHASA, TIBET, The construction of a new terminal at Gonggar airport, 100 km away from tibetan capital Lhasa, has begun yesterday. The new $14,4 million will be completed by June 2003. The terminal's annual throughput will hit 1.1 million people by 2010.
