CHAULMES RESIDENTS TO OPPOSE THIRD PARISIAN AIRPORT'S CONSTRUCTION
PARIS, The residents of Chaulmes, in French Somme, opposed the plan to build a third parisian airport in that area. 91% of the residents said no in a referendum that was not considered legal by french authorities. The reason of opposition is the presence of several war cemeteries in that area, in which the battle of the Somme was fought during the 1WW.
