AIRLINES PROTEST AGAINST TOKYO NARITA FEES INCREASE

TOKYO, JAPAN, Several airline which operate on Tokyo's Narita Airport are fighting plans to raise landing fees, already the world's highest. New Tokyo International Airport Authority wants to raise landing fees by 8.3 percent, say USD$19.60 per tons. This would bring the cost to land a Boeing 747-400 to over 7000 USD, against the 2,800 USD asked at South Korea's new Incheon Airport...
