HAI Special: the new Turbomeca engine will be named Ardiden

The engine industry Turbomeca ha announced at 2002 HeliExpo in Orlando, Florida, that its next engine will be named Ardiden. The 1200 hp-rated engine will be also produced in India, by Hindustan Industries to equip the Indian military helicopter ALH with the name of Shakti. (Gio/B)
