According to Frank Robinson declarations, NASA and Continental are working together to develop a light diesel engines to be used on light helicopter like R-44. The president and owner of the Robinson Aircraft said that has been developed a two-stroke, turbocharged four cylinder diesel engine, with a 200 horsepower, but is preferable a six cylinder version able to develop 300 HP.
