Macquarie Bank invested in Eternal City airports

Rome, Italy - For USD 483m

Macquarie, an Australian investment bank, purchased a 44,7% stake of Aeroporti di Roma (AdR), the handling agent of the Roman airports of Fiumicino and Ciampino. Thanks to this USD 483 worth acquisition, Macquarie carries out its 4th investment in airports in 18 months. Last June Macquarie took over Sydney Kingsford Smith, the Australian biggest airport.
