N'Sync singer to become third "space tourist"

Moscow, Russia - Take off scheduled for October 22, 2002

Lance Bass, singer of the Us pop group N'Sync, as confirmed by the Canadian Space Agency, has been officially enrolled in the list of the potential "space tourists" to take off to space on board a Russian spacecraft next October 22, 2002. Bass could thus become the third tourist-astronaut in history after Us Denis Tito and South African Mark Shuttleworth. (007)
