Special 2002 Farnborough International Air Show: Forgerd to confirm deliveries forecast

Farnborough, Uk - 300 planes in 2002 as well as in 2003

Yesterday at Farnborough air show, Noel Forgeard, CEO at Airbus, confirmed the forecast according to which Airbus will deliver 300 planes per year both in 2002 and in 2003. "Our financial performance is good", said Mr. Forgeard. "I don't like to seem overconfident, but we're in reasonably good shape not only to weather the downturn, but to emerge stronger than before", added then Airbus'boss....
