Boeing and Eads close to alliance for helicopter market
London, UK - Cooperation in marketing NH-90 and CH-47 transport helicopters
Boeing Co. and European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co. are to bury their bitter commercial rivalry by forging an alliance to tackle the helicopter market. Under the terms of the alliance, Boeing would market and possibly manufacture the NH-90 transport helicopter made by EADS unit Eurocopter, while EADS would in return help Boeing to sell its CH-47 Chinook transport helicopter to European armies....
