Kuwait to purchase 16 AH-64D Apache attack helicopters

Kuwait City, Kuwait - A deal possibly worth some USD 2bn

Kuwait and the United States signed a deal, possibly worth some $2 billion, for 16 Boeing AH-64D Apache Longbow attack helicopters. The deal is governed by Washington's Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programme which will contract Boeing and other Apache team industry members to manufacture the helicopters for Kuwait – the aircraft's 11th customer worldwide.
