Korean national police to purchase second Mi-172

Seul, Korea - The first MI-172 was introduced in December 1999

The National Police Agency announced that it will purchase an additional MI-172 medium transport helicopter from Russia as part of an economic cooperation redemption program. Under the deal the NPA will pay half of the USD 8.83m price tag with the remainder being struck off money owed to Korea from an outstanding cooperation loan.
