French air force ordered 4 EC725 helicopters

Marignane, France - Re-engined with Turbomeca Makila 2A

The French Air Force has announced to have ordered four EC725 helicopters equipped with new engines Turbomeca Makila 2A. The first helicopter in the batch recently made its maiden flight from the Marignane site under the control of test pilot Hervé Jammayrac, flight test engineer Bernard Turcat, and flight test technician Daniel Sémioli.
