SYDNEY AIRPORT TRAFFIC UP

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, Sydney airport handled more than 23 million passengers in this year. The growth was particularly due to the Olympics. There was a 6% rise compared to 1999 and the total of 23.26 million passengers flew on 290,000 planes.
