VIRGIN EXPRESS ANNOUNCES 3RD QUARTER 2000 RESULTS

LONDON, The airline is making progress to restructure the business. The high price of fuel and the dollar have resulted in making an EUR 7,3 million loss in the third quarter. Scheduled revenue grew by 14% and costs rose 13%. Good progress have been made in sales and marketing. The Berlin-Rome route was shut down because unprofitable.
