BA AND QANTAS DENY TAKEOVER POSSIBILITY
LONDON, GREAT BRITAIN, Either Qantas and British Airways officials declared that BA has no interest in takeover on Australian carrier, but only to obtain from Australian government the raise of foreign ownership cap to 49 per cent from the current 25%, as yet owned in Qantas by BA.
