NORWAY: AIRLINE STAFF UNIONS' STRIKE TODAY

NORWAY, The unions have called its members out on a one-hour political strike this morning to protest against government proposal of increasing passenger tax on inland traffic. The strike caused minimal delays. The airlines have calculated that the increased passenger tax may rise the cost of the cheapest air fares by 30 per cent, if the proposal will be approved.
