HEATHROW TO NEED £150 TO HANDLE SUPERJUMBO A3XX

LONDON, The new was announced by BAA. A3XX superjumbo is expected to enter service in early 2006. Mike Hodgkinson, BAA chief executive, said new facilities would be built at both longhaul terminals three and four with two additional piers planned for T3 and two runways will have to be widened. The airport therefore would be able to handle up to seven A3XXs on the ground at one time.
