Iraq: killed Italian Carabinieri (6): Other Carabinieri may be under the rubble

Nassiriya, Iraq - The explosion happened at 11 a.m.

Other Italian forces are still believed to be trapped in the rubble of the building. The blast happened shortly before 11.a.m. interrupting the communications with the Italian military in Iraq. There are about 3,000 Italian forces in Iraq, headquartered in Nasiriyah, including about 400 Carabinieri, who are mainly involved in police operations.
