Rome, Italy - "I stand by the families of the victims"

The President of the Italian Republic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, leaving for the Usa, learned the news of the attack expressing all his sympathy to the Carabinieri, saying he stands by "The families of the Carabinieri killed by an ignoble terrorism action. They are military who have lost their life while they were on duty, in order to help the Iraqui people to find again peace, order and safety".
