RALEIGH-DURHAM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, NC, UNVEILS PROPOSED TERMINAL

NORTH CAROLINA, After growing more than 20 percent annually for two consecutive years, Raleigh-Durham International Airport has unveiled a terminal expansion plan that would cost nearly $ 1 billion. The Carolinas' second-busiest airport wants to build a new terminal with 40 gates, replacing an old terminal with 18 gates. Construction could start in 2003 and be completed in 2010.
