FAA APROVES MAMMOTH/YOSEMITE AIRPORT IMPROVEMENTS

MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN, CALIFORNIA, The Federal Aviation Administration gave official notification to the federal funds which will be spent on improvements at Mammoth/Yosemite airport. The works, which worth nearly 30 million, will begin this spring and includes: lengthening and widening the runway; installing a ramp to facilitate large jet aircraft, and building a terminal facility.
