Fred Olivi died in a rehabilitation center in Chicago on Monday after a stroke. He was 82. Olivi was the co-pilot of the B-29 Bockstar bomber that dropped the atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Nagasaki on 9 August 1945, after the first nuclear bomb had devastated the city of Hiroshima.
