BAGHDAD, According to iraqi newsagency american and british planes have killed three people in an attack on civilian targets in the southern province of al-Muthanna, three-hundred-and-fifty kilometres south of Baghdad. Iraqi sources also said a british fighter was shot down. United States confirmed that the air bombing was carried out but denied any aircraft was hit.
